While normally we don't do this sort of thing, recent charity work with Child's Play has substantially increased the bandwidth demands over at Penny Arcade. To assist Gabe & Tycho, and keep their site running slightly faster than a snails-pace, we're co-hosting their seasonal holiday strip series "The Last Christmas".   • I hate to be rude, but am I the only loyal PA reader that doesn't like this series? I mean, yeah it's weird and christmas themed, but I expect a little more humor and games related content in their strip.

      Humor is in the eye of the beholder (intended), and it would appear that Cthulhu is games related [callofcthulhu.com] content. And if you're not disliking of something in PA over the years, then they're not trying hard enough. If you want to fill the void, try another comic until the series is done. (Personally, the top h

    • mmm. cthulu always has uber-comic nerd cred. i think that's gabe talking. gabe's being experimentalist as always with the art, making it look like a hallmark card or short children's xmas book, most especially the night before xmas.

        Yeah, I mean, I understand the joke. I just think it's stupid. It reminds me of this dude I used to work with who would just spout random nerdy inside jokes when he wanted to be funny. It's like those irritating people who post about overlords, communist russia, or women covered in grits.

        Oh well. At least they've rectified it with a stip about monkey blood and spiderman.
    • You're not alone. I am a loyal PA reader as well and this series falls into the same category as Twisp and Catsby for me. I strongly dislike both of them.
