Sir/Madam, I doff my hat to you for even attempting to play a Gameboy through a ziplock bag in the tub. Whomever you are, I consider you a true connoisseur of the bath. Bravo!

This reminded me of a scene in "The Day After Tomorrow" where they are trapped in a library and several characters are debating which of several classic books they were going to burn to keep warm. Then someone else walks in: "Uh... 'scuse me? You guys? Yeah... there's a whole section on tax law down here that we can burn." *problem solved*

Both can be claimed for a full deduction if it's for a business, although you will probably depreciate the furniture instead. I suspect this also applies to a not-for-profit foundation, such as a library. For a private individual, only the tax law books are deductible, unless the furniture is somehow necessary for your employment.

Every time I go to a hotel I notice the Gideon bible in the bedside table, and I feel this weird desire to steal it. Not for any desire to have it, just for the irony of stealing a bible.
Maybe I am just strange.
