- Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
- Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
- This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

Fun Fact: A tweet is actually 160 characters, but the first 20 are automatically reserved for an internally-used user ID.

Actually it's not.
Twitter was originally SMS-based, where you would write a post (they didn't call them tweets back then), and it would get forwarded to all your followers via SMS. Obviously the SMS to your friends had to be prefixed with your username, so that's what the 20 characters at the start were reserved for.
And, yes, it's still possible to use Twitter exclusively via SMS.
