+ - Adaptable GIMP: builtin searchable macros by users->

Submitted by
ndogg
ndogg writes "GIMP doesn't have a way of easily making a rectangle, and a number of other such tasks aren't so readily apparent, but what if it had a built in search capability that sought out someone else's macro for creating a rectangle, or performing other such tasks? What if there was a wiki-like interface where you can add your own macros for people to use? That's what Adaptable GIMP. They call the macros "tasklets," and it was created at the University of Waterloo with some help from the University of Manitoba."
