The Japanese business newspaper also reports(http://e.nikkei.com/e/ac/tnks/Nni20120409D09EE437.htm) (subscription required) that seven executives — including chairman and former CEO Howard Stringer — may be asked to forfeit their bonuses. The report comes on the heels of the electronics and software giant recording a loss of 260 billion yen ($3.2 billion) for the 2011 fiscal year. Kazuo Hirai, who took over as Sony's chief executive on April 1, is scheduled to host a special company event on Thursday to outline his strategy for the coming years."
