I will be buying a switch lite as soon as a clear "jailbreak" path comes clear. I hope to use it with moonlight for gamestreaming, as well as rock my old school emulation collection. I will also be buying quite a bit of software, Mario+Rabbids, the new Zelda franchise games, and others. It's got a pretty awesome library of games that I'm looking forward to playing in bed.

You do know that consoles aren't profit centers right? They make their money on the games, not the machines. You're threatening not to buy subsidized hardware and then never generate profit for the company - I'm sure they're quaking.
If you want to play old NES games, you can get them licensed and official on the switch.
