Disclosure: I juggle. Used to do it professionally as well as teach. Both part time for fun, but I got paid.. and it's been about 20+ years since I did either for money.
Yes, it repetitive. It's like you are saying 'Typing poorly will prevent RSI in your wrist'. i.e. nonsense.

I learned to dance instead. Swing dancing, I found it right about the time Swing was at its peak, but regardless of type of partner dance, learn. Tango, Salsa, Bolero, Quickstep, Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Nightclub Two-step, Country Two-step, Jive, West-coast Swing, East-coast Swing, Hustle, even Merengue will be fun, will impress people, and is as skill. Math is involved in using one's knowledge of the musical breaks to hit those breaks with the right dance moves. Better yet, it will more than offset the negatives that being a true, real nerd causes with the ladies.
I met my wife when I went to a ballroom dance that I had thought was going to be swing dance that night. She knew how to dance the nineteen common ballroom dances, so she knew how to swing dance with me for those few tunes that worked for.
Juggling is a party trick for all but the most skilled. Dance can be enjoyed as a novice.

Juggling impresses no one, and it IS a skill.
How you present your juggling impresses people.
I like how you choose a hobby the involves doing the same thing over and over again to avoid repetitive strain injury.
It doesn't have to be water, It can be things that contain water. A soda for example. Although I would avoid sugared sodas.

So you can take a leak when you want to or when JRE wants you to, but you can't choose not to take a leak when JRE wants you to, even if you are in the middle of a time-critical task and have more than enough memory left. You can TRY to please your JRE overlords by recycling objects, etc. to reduce the frequency of the GC but in the end, it all depends on the current position of the stars.

I've thoroughly checked the MSDN .NET documentation as well as the Java documentation and could not find any classes that support a juggle method.

Best practice is to start the juggling on an isolated worker process. To this end, you must serialize the juggle list and pass it to the juggle process. To stop juggling simply kill the juggler. If asked, whether this is reasonable, answer "more guns".

Technically speaking, 1 object is not considered juggling... ...you'd think. But there's things like contact juggling [wikipedia.org]. So yes, 1 would technically be an option, but it would most likely be misunderstood by many.

Actually, I answered 2...and I don;t consider that juggling either (unless it is done one handed), so I would have taken the CowboyNeal option too. Generally, I would say 3 is the first level where its actually juggling. Before that its just practicing the motions/timing.

Not really. "I can juggle half an object" is the correct English form for that sentence, and the "an" attaches to the object, of which there is one (from which a half has been extracted).
"I can juggle a half object" is an Americanism, not universally accepted. Here, "half object" is a compound noun, and again you have one "half object" so again "a" attaches to one thing.
The equivalent to "I can juggle two objects" is "I can juggle half objects" - an abomination in English language terms - but the plural form attaches to the number half anyway. Mass, definitely. 7.5 kilogram, not 7.5 kilograms. For 7 kg, either 7 kilogram or 7 kilograms would work. There are countable kg weights.
Force too, but for a different reason. Newton is a proper noun, and doesn't pluralize. 1.2 newtons would just be plain wrong. Same with Ampere, Ã...ngstrÃm, Watt and similar units. I know many people say Watts, but it should be Watt.
Temperature - well, I guess it depends on the scale. 273.15 Kelvin, not Kelvins, for the same reason as other proper nouns.
For Celsius and Fahrenheit which need the degree marker, it depends. I would say "a five degree difference" and not "five degrees difference". I also would say "one point six degree Celsius", but I have become used to people saying "degrees" whether it's a countable number or not.

First of all, the word juggling is related to jocular, and was what a jester was doing. Including singing, telling jokes, and other things. Like spinning and tossing objects, which is what the word mostly means these days.
If you think two hands are needed, you have obviously never seen a one-armed juggler.
If you think passing multiple objects are needed, what about gyroscopic juggling, like spinning a wheel in the air and make it appear to defy gravity, or devil sticks?

juggling as tension relief (Score:1)
I learned a simple three ball cascade as a way to relax. You just cannot juggle if you are tense. You have to relax and let the balls flow. It's very calming.

Anyhow, blindfolded jugglers are common enough. Once you have a feel for the objects, vision doesn't help you much. If you have to look at all the objects to know their trajectory, you're doing it wrong, and hilarity will ensue.

I can juggle any amount of objects - for less time than it takes for them to fall. Slow down the rotation of your space station, and you can juggle for hours! ;-P
Seriously: I've recently tried juggling a couple of very large avocados, which also helps soften them up, and is good for the biceps. They're a good source of healthy fatty acids, potassium, and other micronutrients. And they taste great. But of course the greatest benefit is - they resemble breasts!
See, I spend a lot of time listening to audio-books, and I like to get some exercise at the same time. Under these circumstances, when cooking / housework is done and there's no desire to go for a walk in the woods, juggling no longer seems like an irrational waste of time. It doesn't distract the mind from the audio-book as much as many other tasks...

(2) The etymology dates back to wild avocados, before centuries of selective cultivation. The variety that I get (not sure what it's called) are very large, almost too large to be comfortably gripped with one hand, and have perfectly smooth green skin. I'm not sure if elephant testicles may be similar, but the part of the human anatomy they most closely resemble is breasts (minus the nipple). Can't help but make that association when handling soft ripe ones...

I've taught many folks how to juggle since that time. Taught my son. He's getting damn good with five, which I never completely mastered.
He's also taught others, passing it on. It's easy to learn, and addicting -- you go through a phase where you'll try to juggle anything that won't fight back (hints: tape the paws together; shake frogs and other small animals first to make sure they're empty before throwing them over your head).
Juggling helps you relax; it helps you concentrate. It helps you realize what's important. There are always new things to learn, and interested people to teach. Keep practicing, keep teaching others, and keep having fun.

I taught many people how to juggle IRL.
Here's my attempt to teach it online, without visual information and without constant feedback.
It isn't hard, and you don't need much time to learn it.
I tried my best to cut the learning process in as many small steps as possible.
Some might seem obvious to you, but they are important nonetheless.
It helps to have someone nearby that can show you how a proper 3 ball cascade is performed. No need to show off!
The cascade should be smooth, with a constant rhythm and not too fast or not too high. If you don't know anybody who can juggle, Youtube should be able to help you.
So : :D : : ,catch,catch,L->R, say hello with your left hand while R->L,catch,catch, ...
* Begin with only one ball.
* Throw it from your right hand to your left hand (R->L).
* Try to launch it at eyes-height.
* Notice that you don't need to look at your hands. Your brain only needs to look at the apogee in order to know where your left hand should be.
* Did you manage to catch it? Good!
* Throw the ball from your left hand to your right hand (L->R).
* R->L,catch,pause,L->R,catch,pause,R->L,catch,pause,...
* Don't worry if you don't always manage to catch.
* Make sure that the R->L and L->R throws appear symmetrical, with approximately the same height.
* If you feel confident with one ball, grab another one.
* Take one ball in each hand.
* Throw R->L.
* Just as the first ball reaches its apogee, throw L->R.
* Try to catch the first ball.
* Try to catch the second ball.
* If you have troubles catching balls, your timing might be off.
* Try to only concentrate on throwing the balls at the right time and height.
* Let them fall on the floor
* Listen to the "rhythm".
* If they land at the same time, you're probably throwing the second ball too fast, or too low
* The duration between two landings should be approximately the same as between the two throws.
* Once the rhythm seems fine, concentrate on catching one ball
* Catch two balls
* R->L,L->R,catch,catch,pause,R->L,L->R,catch,catch,pause,R->L,L->R,catch,catch,pause
* Try L->R,R->L
* It probably feels less comfortable than the other one.
* It's composed of the exact same movement as R->L,L->R, you just begin with the other hand!

* Concentrate on launching the second ball at the exact same time the first ball reaches its apogee.
* Having a constant rhythm is more important than being able to catch sloppy throws.
* Believe it or not, you're almost there, and you did the hardest part!
* Instead of always beginning the two throws with the same hand, try to begin with the same ball (it helps to have balls of different colour)

I can't juggle, but I taught my brother how to. I learned from a book (Juggling for the Complete Klutz, which I highly recommend, btw), but didn't have the patience to actually develop the muscle memory. Meanwhile, my brother was wanting to learn, so I taught him!
