How could anyone consider this anything but a blatent ad?
  • I wonder if they name the islands after the winner's username. Because I would love to look on my map and see Captain Asshat Island.
  • A Lifetime Account to play Puzzle Pirates to infinity and beyond...

Funny, nearly all my games included this without having to win a contest. I'm a little curious as to how the plan to charge for this, as it doesn't strike me as the type of thing people would willing shell out money month after month for.

You can't call something "Bootytacular" and not include porn.
  • I just tried it, and found the click-on-arrow RPG style tedious (have never warmed to it). Can anyone here name a good free site that has puzzles where you don't have to walk characters to them?
    • games.yahoo.com is pretty good, and unless things have changed significantly in the past year most of the site is free.

I've heard things about zone.msn.com also, though I haven't tried it.

Orisinal [ferryhalim.com] doesn't have multiple players at once, but they have some of the most original, relaxing games I've ever played.

And, of course, for the hardcore there is the Kiseido Go Server. [kiseido.com]

There are a lot of game collection sites out there. What is it you're looking for?
    • You generally don't travel by clicking on the ground in Puzzle Pirates. Just use the map and click on your destination. You can travel from one side of an island to the other instantly.

Actually, I've been playing this game for over a year and I've got a few points to make.

As far as this being an ad goes, I almost started a story about the game the last time something big happend in the game. This game has a very loyal fanbase, and anything you hear from any of us is likely to sound like an ad because.

We like the game. We want more people to play it!

About the game not being subscription worthy, two points.

      1. I didn't think so either until I played it for a little while. I'm a subsc
