Everything evolves. You must be new to this species.
FTFY. "Evolve" means "to undergo gradual change" and does not imply getting "better" (or "worse").
Really? Are you confident you know what evolution is? I'm pretty sure a planet full of species, would be willing to disagree with your non-scientific assertion.

fwiw, I think you made a common mistake and confused the definition of evolution with the definition of evolution of species. And I only made this post since you did say, species.
Yes, I am confident, as the "evolution of species" includes the extinction of a species through natural selection. Do you consider extinction as "better"? If so, then I think we have a different problem on our hands and you should be institutionalized.
Humans are the most destructive species on the planet. If they can't dig it up, cut it down, pave over it, build on it, blow it up, burn it down, or otherwise manipulate it into unnatural fashions,... well... it doesn't exist. They've taken remains of long since dead creatures, and used it to pollute the sky, waters, and land. They've taken relatively safe radioactive elements (safe in their naturally occuring form) and processed them into large scale weapons. Even the radioactive eleme
Not to mention how stubborn and illogical they seemingly are. Nearly everything is about profit. How much damage is causes is irrelevant to them. If it helps the imaginary economy and keeps it on life support for a bit longer, go for it!
Most of the pollution wouldn't even exist if they put more effort into finding other solutions (oh, wait, that again requires money, which is the most important object in existence).
Well, everything is about profit in some cultures. Unfortunately, those cultures have polluted virtually every other culture there is.
Humans trying to step back to the "simpler time", where money is not an issue, and self sufficiency is, are looked at as hippies in communes, Amish (to some degree), or fringe nutjobs who are trying to escape the trappings of capitalist life. They frequently are called names and looked down upon. If you've never heard "dirty hippie", "communi
That depends on the species. Factors could include things such as how much harm they do to the planet or how ignorant, stubborn, or irrational many of them are (regardless of their degree of intelligence in other areas).
Man? This is collegehumor, it's a commercial operation. It'd be quite impressive if it were a random youtube by someone, but this is par for the course for the kind of stuff that collegehumor do.
Have you watched a collegehumor vid? You just described them accurately. "What one ok editor could do in a day." I think the only reason it'd be impressive by a youtuber is because a) they're not getting paid to bother, and b) 90% of youtube is of absolute shit quality.
I can only guess it must be some kind of flash app embedded in the story page. it's completely invisible to me. All that remains is the meaningless summary with no context.
As soon as you see the world IDLE you should already be skeptical that you will be receiving any real information. Sometimes this happens. I, too, had lols, and under no circumstance will I complain about that, even if it's "not what I signed up for" here at Slashdot. Besides, even if you guys have an "amazing point", hasn't this been said on here at least x amount of times already? where x = (uninformative submissions) * (0.20 * userbase) * 100;// Real original guys....
You'd think that of all places, Slashdot would post a downloadable FLV link instead of (or in addition to) an embedded SWF, so that their readers wouldn't have to install Flash just to watch a video.
Don't you people have better things to do with your time than whine about a not-news item being posted on/.? Yeah, it probably should've been tagged as idle instead of games but big deal. If the quality of news is that important to you, try getting out there and making some news that'll make the grade.
Yep.. totally Agree. Why complain about accidently watching some humour that wastes your time, when you chose to waste the time coming to a news site?
Maybe whining would be sensible if you only had 5 minutes each day to read news, and you had a medical condition called chronic-hyper-inverse-news-allergy. I think not!
It is like they did not even try. I am not going to lie, I wasted 30 seconds that I want back reading that, and wasted 2 minutes typing this that I want back. Now/.!
