Kong Lives! 51
eToyChest is reporting that, if you play your cards right in the game version of the Kong film, King Kong might return home the end of the game. Apparently the designers thought people wouldn't want to play if they already knew the ending. From the article: "To unlock the alternate ending, players must complete the entire game and then go back and play through various maps and earn a total of 250,000 points. Other unlockable features include several Weta Digital concept art galleries, interviews with both Peter Jackson and Phillipa Boyens, an "old movie" filter, a King Kong theatrical trailer and more."

To be quite honest. This has been pushed so much I was kinda hoping it would flop.

In the news post associated with that comic, there is a complaint about how, in this game, you face an unwinnable scenario. Then there's a brief correction posted at the end, that just pretty much says "Oh, I guess there's an alternate ending where Kong doesn't die."
I read that, and was thinking, "What? He doesn't die? What does happen? Does he, in fact, just climb back down?" I'm sure I wasn't the

To whoever handles their marketing, if you're reading this...the sole reason why I will NEVER buy this game and will discourage my friends from getting it is because it has been overhyped and you've attempted to shove it down our throats. Gamers will always reject this kind of marketing crap, and if a game is worthwhile, we will find out about it. The same is VERY true of the opposite. If t
