New Fable II DLC Coming May 12th 26
Lionhead Studios today announced that their next section of downloadable content for Fable II, called See the Future, will be available on May 12th. The new content will include new quests, monsters and items, a Colosseum, and alter egos for the player's dog. Peter Molyneux also hinted at a connection to the next Fable game, saying, "... it would be pretty poor to say See the Future if it didn't have some connection." Further details are available in the latest in Lionhead's series of developer diaries.

I mean I play through this whole game enjoying most of it, then I get to the end waiting for this epic duel between good and evil, and it's over without a single button press. LAME!
Sorry for this post, it just frustrates me when I feel like I wasted $60 on a game.

For instance, if you choose family as your ending to get your dog back in Fable II, you end up receiving a letter from your sister Rose. The letter itself is extremely vague as to her whereabouts, but it does signal that she is, indeed, out there somewhere.

You know why Reaver shot Lucien?
Because you, being a gamer, were sitting there patiently waiting for the guy to finish his monologue before you began SUPAH BOSS-A BATTRE-YU.
He was standing there, and you had a gun pointed at him.
SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD
But you didn't, because you thought there was something more to this then just getting simple revenge on the guy who fucked your life up.
There isn't. Shoot him. Now.
I loved the whole end of this game exactly because it flew directly in the face of video game logic. Specifically, it flew right in the face of bullshit JRPG logic that is poisoning all RPGs and has been doing so for years.

How bout some proper multiplayer (Score:2, Interesting)
I'd like to see a proper multiplayer update for Fable 2. The whole thing of connecting online and having to share a single screen is just awful. It's one of those design choices that makes you wonder if that part of the game was made on 'huff as much gasoline as you can' day at the office.

Sadly there's a lot of that sort of thing in current generation games.
In particular, trying to find true local co-op console games is extremely difficult. They either don't exist (taking the network multiplayer cop-out route), or they're this stupid "drop in and help out" sort of multiplayer.
I've come to the conclusion that the 360 and the PS3 have been designed for people without families, that never meet other people in person.
