Game Developer's Conference Site Goes Live 5

The website for the 2005 Game Developer's Conference has gone live. Next year's GDC will be held between March 7 - 11, and will feature panels, roundtable discussions, the annual Game Developer's Choice Awards, and tutorials on various game production components. Gamespot has a short piece on this as well.

  • I'm glad they finally moved this up to the city proper rather than in San Jose. The San Jose convention center was boring. Now it will only be short cab ride to the Mitchell Bros!
  • Think the Hotel strikes are going to be resolved by then? The proposed cooling off period didn't "take". Seems like its been on for a couple of months already.

  • I really wish I could go, unfortunately I am very poor, but there are a lot of tutorials online that I am learning from, like www.gametutorials.com Those who get to go - I am jealous of you, please post pics after the event!!
  • I love this show for the Indi games. I'm still hooked on Pontifex from a couple of years ago. http://www.chroniclogic.com/ The mobile (as in phone) games stuff is pretty killer too. I think this show has a lot more depth than E3, which is just whip it out and measure it time.
